i love my k-tec but purely as my car is just a weekend toy, not that its overly loud but if i was using the car daily i would just go standard, even standard with a decat wonder if that would sound ok.

i had Bilstein B14's on my first 172, dont know if i could justify the cost for them again think im going sportlines and brand new genuine dampers all round, possibly 182 dampers all round (already got 182 rears)

what series is it and full regs? how do they verify engine? id buy a 1.6 16v and put the 1.4 16v engine cover on it lol 172 has a slightly better gearbox however the ratios will be longer i would think but cant confirm it, however its not really better in any sort of way to warrant changing...

cheers matey! how have you wired the sub just taken a feed from the rear speakers or does the cabasse have an rca plug?

2 bolts to remove the rear pad carrier, pop it off, pull out the pin that holds the slider in place, tap the slider out, pads will come out, new pads in place, tap slider back in, pin back in, wind back the caliper piston with a flad blade screw driver, re fit calliper. can be done in 10 minutes!

ive only had 2 slight complaints about mine, the first is they have done away with tweeters for a set of door speakers with tweeters on them, sounds strange, but now im used to them its ok but im looking for a set of front components for it now. and 2 it was slow, i didnt expect it to be fast...

similar engine but has new much quieter injectors, thats why they have done away with the engine cover. outside its quieter but inside its much better due to the better quality cabin, 70mph on the motorway all you can hear is the interior blower rather than engine noise, i was extremely impressed

god awful noise? you cant hear the thing after first gear!, i keep thinking its cut out when im sitting at the lights lol bah who needs revs when you have torque ive not had it past 3k revs yet!! apart from at 115mph when it was at 3.5k

non RS cars drive like a bag of shite with 16s though, suppose RS cars too too right enough going by the ph1!!

take it you need the hubs too though for the bolt spacing on the wheels?

set of 197 brembos with discs, will these bolt straight onto non RS hubs (1.6 16v/ 1.5dci)

i would be interested in one of these kits if they were low boost so they were reliable but giving a nice daily 140/150bhp or so with torque!

i had a damaged abs ring and it was still reading fine right enough just causing issues with braking

just under 2 weeks for the GT, done 1k in it already and used just over a tank of fuel haha had my phase 1 since feb, planning on keeping that

the speedo runs off the ABS system not the gearbox with the exception being 172 cups as they have no ABS. you have an ABS ring on the driveshafts and sensors on the hub, but i cant see how you would have caught these unless your seriously low? is the abs working ok? no random pedal juddering...

it runs from the back of the changer under the carpet up the centre console and then up the back of the head unit. remove the headunit with a set of removal keys or small screwdrivers, then remove the cup holder and unplug the cig lighter, follow the centre console back to where the feet vents...

do you need the full tailgait to use the GT spoiler?
