Yes i agree. Im just helping OP.
My guess its a dirty throttle body.
@BuCkLeY... When you get a chance, take the throttle body off and give it a good clean. Get some brake cleaner around and inside it and give it a thorough clean, including the "O" ring. I bet that be closer to your issue...
Is you acoustic valve removed? Its not essential to have it removed when fitting the fatty IK but it is essential to block the inlet pipe if it is removed, otherwise you'll get high revs/air leak.
No, dont remove it, just block the pipe. I cut mine down and bolted it up, like in the pic as i didn't want a big pipe dangling down and this looked neater.
Keep it connected to the inlet but block it up so no air leak will occur.
Here
It needs to be blocked up otherwise it'll create an air leak, meaning high revs. Put a bolt in the end to block it up. I did this a while back. (Its a bit different now as ive removed the Carbon cannister and looped the inlet pipes)
Ok so that's that bit cleared up!
Right, so you have removed the acoustic valve, and you've blocked up the pipe that goes from the inlet down to the acoustic valve?
Carbon cannister is drivers side, acoustic valve is passengers side.
Without sounding like a t**t, im unsure what you have done.
I very much doubt its down to the fatty bend.
The solid engine mounts will cause a little cabin vibration. I dont find them too harsh but its down to personal preference.
You can buy powerflex bushes to go into the original mount (Engine side) or you can replace them with a Kangoo one which is the same fitment but 1/2 the price because it...

I'm already thinking of removing the sunstrip! Will give it a few more days first but as much as I like the look from the outside, I don't think it's me...

Dont be fooled, this is no minter. Infact its had paint work done, has chips and scuffs all over, but im not too bothered. Im really enjoying this car for what it is. Its on 111k, 12yrs old. Needs a bit of work...
They are great mate and having them next to the Gaz's was good to compere the 2.
Adjusters definitely go at the top. If you look the writing is the correct way up. If the adjusters went at the bottom then the writing would be upside down as the spring can only fit in the adjusters one way! ;)...
My 68mm rear studs finally turned up so i took the car to work to fit them. A few days before Emily took the car to work as i took hers for an MOT. When i came home she told me she pulled the handbrake up too far and heard something snap. Upon inspection, its the drivers side handbrake cable...
