open the glove box and you can get ur fingers under it to pull it off, dont worry it wont snap off lol, passengers side if you have small fingers pull at it, if not as john said cloth and a screwdriver
i get it on the 1.2 cleared it a bit when i changed the gearbox mount but then 3 weeks later it was back, bushes arnt up to much in these mounts to be honest, trying the k-tec uprated ones this month to see how it goes
just get an off the shelf one that you like, id avoid peco tho, most custom places will do you a backbox with tailpipe of your choice for about £150 -£170 ish or £250-£300 for a cat-back
k-tec cat back exhausts are listed to fit 1.2 and 1.2 16v (along with many others) so i would think they are all the same or as edde says, similar and it should fit
not going to win but its an attempt! (keeping in mind the car went thru the carwash for 3yrs/120k miles!!) only been the last year that its been looked after properly, got a PC coming for it soon tho :D
so ideally id want 5mm all round?
where would i get some decent hubcentrial ones made up, and what does hubcentrial mean (sorry if its a stupid question lol)
also where would i get longer wheel bolts?
would want to do it properly, dont want the wheel falling of when im hammering it lol
so how much we looking at for 2 wheel spacers with 8 longer bolts?
is a wheel spacer a wheel spacer or do you need one for a clio?
cheers
i hate the way the standard dynamique wheels sit quite far in the arches on the rear of the clio, so im looking for some spacers for the rear to bring them out a bit, so need a bit of advice since im new to the idea.
do i need longer wheel bolts? if so where from?
any disadvantages?
and...
standard 15s will make it worth more when it comes to selling if your selling it for your megane any time soon.
i dont have side skirts but im on 15s lowered 60mm and my mates is on 15s lowered about 75mm and its fine
they all have an anti roll bar fitted yep, reason no one uprates them is because no one actually makes an uprated one as far as im aware. powerflex do uprated anti roll bar bushes which help make it a bit more solid
hi, im wondering what the law is with harnesses on the road. i was told about a year back from someone who thot he knew it all that the police could do you for not wearing a seatbelt if you were only using harnesses and not using the factory fitted seat belt i didnt beleive this but just thought...
if they think you are soft enough to not argue they will charge you, if you tell them to fuk off and that your not paying, cause a big scene then you'll end up getting it free most of the time lol
its not the grip that bothers me, it grips better than it does on 15s just the roads arround here are crap and the steering gets really light and pulls its self over the road when you hit bumps on the 16s
cheers giles mate
as for everyone else, the thing handles like a bus with 16s on it not had them on the car in ages, already had 2 offers for them.
its going on 15" pro race 1.2s and going much, MUCH lower lol
best bet is to buy yourself a new engine mate, doesnt need to run as long as its an engine, rebuild it yourself if you have the tools and some basic knowledge theres no point in paying to get anything done to the 1.2 16v engines as labour kills you, but doing it yourself its pretty cheap-ish to...
not much you can really do for more torque, you will have the new style engine with a couple of nissan bits on it with the revised induction system, throttle body and ECU decat and exhaust will help a bit but not much, not worth modding a 1.2 engine wise for power, noise its worth it but not...
