Cheers Louis, she's getting a bit old now and well worn like a city sauna slapper but she keeps on trucking!
I do still have the arb, however it's alas not for sale as it's destined for my mk1 track car! Sorry!
Just read whole thread @182_steve and the cars an absolute credit to you. Love the oem+ approach and attention to detail is superb and honestly I'm properly looking forward to when (I presume) you tackle the engine bay
I can't notice anything really under road conditions between say a 15" turbine with heavy ns2 tyres and a 15" Williams wheel with lighter Michelins.
On track I could say I can notice between the ns2 shod turbines and the track wheels (15" 4.9kg Oz superleggera with reduculously light Dunlop...
Electronic power steering, the mk2 dci's had it and can bolt it onto 1*2's
Means simplified under the bonnet setup and one less system to piss fluid out.

it'll never be better than a phase 1 ;-)

First job, bought a new number plate light and LED bulb, so fitted that:
Then got a new hazard switch as the old one looked off, recessed indicator and all covered in glue or something, so had to...
Thanks!
Sort of agree, I prefer the phase 1 front end and less colour coding but the rear is not quite on par with the later car. Thinking of fitting a cup spoiler to add a bit of aggression!
no way I would leave the sills as they are, it'd bug the hell out of me, not to mention devalue the car as first place anyone looks on the old clios is the sills! for a stock oem restoration i'd have to get that repair flushed!
great plans for the car though, should be lovely when done!
