love it, its so cumfy, well built, nice to drive and handles awesome! it lacks power, got a nice torque band but imo needs 220lb/ft or so! (they have 180 as standard) ive rarely had it over 2.5krpm just cruise about in it. 2krpm in 6th gear is 75mph. however so far its not been great on fuel...
wandering in a straight line will be the rear dampers, its one of they feelings you cant put your finger on it but it just doesnt feel right!! go into a damp roundabout a little faster than you normally would and lift off and you will soon tell if the rears are gone!!!
i wouldnt be paying...
just got mine today thought it was worth a try at only £16.99 and turns out its pretty good! well impressed by it. worth a try for anyone looking to go wireless, comes with a tiny USB receiver, that controls the both of them so only needs one usb port, free delivery and includes batteries...
i think the OP has possibly used the wrong term, driven hard and possibly means fast flowing driving? my ph1 is awesome on fuel on a nice summers day just driving down a nice twisty road at 60/70/80mph hardly braking hardly acclerating just flowing in and out the bends.
had this on my old 1.2 16v dynamique, was the rear washer jet line, it runs up the near side and was leaking at a joint behind the rear n/s door card, i bet you a tenner its that!
few snow pictures from the other day, what a noisey pair these are lol!!
currently trying to source a set of white 197/200 speedlines for the DCi and a set of 40mm springs
Re: Flame Red DCI 80 Sport Rep
this is looking awesome now!!
just needs a DCI 100 turbo, Intercooler and remap to finish it off!! i miss my old mapped 100 :(
my mrs has a mk2 one and her sis a mk3 one, nice refined engine for about town however doesnt have the power to warrant the terrible fuel consumption, the mk2 does 38mpg on a decent run, the same as my 172 and the mk3 is worse.
if your coming from something quick, go for something cheap to run...
fuking lol, as said 17s would look good on it.
all you needed for megane RS wheels was a set of wheel adators, same idea as fitting 197 wheels to a non RS Clio...
initiale is the top spec, better spec than the 182 in many ways!
dynamiques also came with rare optional extras such as xenons, colour sat nav, ESP, cruise control, 6 disc changers, cabasse head unit, climate control and electric sunroof.
1.2s are cheap and cheerful but not very good to...
172 originals are these ones...
your thinking of 182 wheels
welcome hope you enjoy the car, wont be as quick but will be just as fun and a lot cheaper to run!!
not really iirc ECU was changed too, of course its possible but in reality not really. as ali said, pre 04 engines are plagued with issues. i blew one up lol
