changing alternator what else do i need?

manual tensioner no? it is on my cup anyway, id do the belt they cost fa from the factors anyway and worth doing whilst your at it, i cant think of anything else you might need

definitely a new belt, no question. If there's no record of the tensioner and idler being done in the last 20k/2 years then i'd change it

When you remove an old belt and refit it, that's normally when they decide to suddenly snap.
For the sake of the price of a belt I don't think it's worth the risk personally.
