you have bought the wrong one i take it your car is a 53 plate or earlier? you have bought an induction kit for a 2004 > engine as said, buy an adaptor plate, induction kits dont make much noise on the pre 04 engines.

if i was getting something so slow id want something cheap to run so id go dci power! 65mpg, £20 a year tax and cheap insurance, also much better to drive than gutless small engine petrols. if it has to be petrol go for the 1.6 16v its not much more to insure and it has a wee bit more torque...

Re: Flame Red DCI 80 Sport Rep 100 internals are stronger as renault apparently threw a few pistons thru the block while stress testing the 100 engine, however im not sure how stressed these engines were! few guys on the forum running mapped 65s around the 100bhp mark, id imagine a mapped 80...
