I've managed to get the manifolds out by dropping the back of the subframe but it's an absolute prick of a job.

You'll need a C spanner to adjust them once they're in the car but other than that, you have everything. Most people leave the adjusters out so that the car sits lower. I personally think that's pikey.

I just bought another (used) UCH for £20 and paid auto electrician £40 to remove the immobiliser/coded part and swap over. Took about an hour all in. Well done for tackling it yourself though.

Try some tar and glue remover. If left on long enough (30 mins) it will start to soften paint.

It's insured for £60k once it's complete. Currently insured for £40k. The guy has just spent £16,000 having it painted and a few new trims.

Don't bother 'tracking it'. You won't use it enough. Just drive it until it breaks and then strip it for bits. If you decide to modify it or tidy it up, you'll spend too much on it.

£1200-£1500 depending on its upkeep. If the belts were done by halfords and it has Chinese tyres on it though, I'd not even bother personally.
