50's are cheaper, but will be more bouncy. so a comfier drive on bumpy roads etc.
i'd go with 45's if you often push it, as there should be less give in the tyrewall and therefore handle better. altho in saying that ive had no problems whatsoever with 50's on my willy wheels.
fair do's. its driven me mental having no traffic and travel, but it doesnt catch the v6 which was important at the time. wont have that problem on the next car as the aerials at the front thank fook!
brakes are still on the car :)
not got the caliper brackets unfortunately as i gave them to rich_16v so he could take his 4 pots off ready to sell them.
ph1 172.
thought about a 182, but dont plan on keeping any of the interior, and i just prefer almost everything about the ph1 except the rear which will be changed ;)
lmao. selling it with mk2ph2 new alloys and tyres. coils. 182 interior. smoothed front bumper. 172 rear bumper. and the renault sideskirts. stealth system and sports cat are also staying on :)
aye its going.
everything is pretty much sold and gone now. willys are sold ;)
just need to take off my short aerial and get a normal one so the new buyer can listen the radio ffs. and then get a standard spoiler which im hoping al can sort for me :)
wingmirrors, willys, carbon...
with a bit of luck regarding selling my car ;)
dont be running its full selection of middosport mods. but ill still chuck it on, and if it gets a poor result i'll trick jess into letting me get a turbo :D
got some turinis going on at the weekend. then i can take the willys off and clean then up. then ive bought some mk2 ph2 172 wheels off has to sell the car on.
numberplate will be coming off this week, along with getting an MOT and then shes up for sale. fingers crossed she'll go to a good...
worryingly ive only eaten one meal today to compensate for the amount i ate last night. so it is good value for money in eating until your physically almost sick :D
well soon as ive sold these ones i'll pop down to coventry on the dirty turinis and pick them up. keep that bump strip reserved with the dash inserts as well ;)
aye, i am indeed. Need to get rid though to ease up some cash! will pm my number when i can be arsed to charge my phone lol.
(btw its save to spam as adams on holiday in wales so cant delete all of our posts he he he)
thanks for the comments! I would keep it, but i want something faster, i'm getting bored with the drive of it now. I considered a conversion, but to be honest i'd rather just get a blank canvas so to speak to start a fresh.
Thanks dave, will be sad to see her go, its just i can afford summit a bit faster now and i need a new project as i think i pretty much did all i could without going OTT on this car.
went ok, the renault one fitted like a glove on my car, had trouble with the carbon one though on storm riders. Def think i made the right desicion in selling though :)
dutty_112 put some white alloys in a similar style to those on his car, i'm sure you can find some pics of it if you search (him being a pic ***** and all ;))
Just thought i'd take a few pics before the willys are sold. Sold all the carbon bits already so some pics of my new standard bonnet too. To be honest quite like the look of the standard, draws your attention to the smoothed bumper more. Next stage is putting some brand new spanking 172 alloys...
basically yeah, the lower the offset, the further out they stick out, so with an et 37 as fred says, your 8mm further out than it shoudl be. If it was the other way, it wouldnt be a problem as you can use spacers to bring them out.
