I am running de-cat but have not has any attention from police since I traded in the VTR and got the Williams!:) Used to have de-cat on Saxo but never had it checked when I was pulled.
I thought I had decided and you had to throw a spanner in the works! Will be getting headwork and cams at some point this year so manifold wont be a waste. I dont know I might save for a few weeks and buy the lot. Will be best to go for new standard bushes by the sound of it though.
I could get both but I always feel guilty about spending too much on my car. Might go for manifold & poly bushes then get the 4pots when Ive got the Nitrous fitted.
I have some spare money at the moment and I cant decide what to spend it on. I am thinking either 4 pots /285mm discs from BB or Exhaust manifold and full set of poly bushes form K-tec. Decisions, decisions
If you have to give up eating to afford the williams I wouldnt advise buying it as it isnt the cheapest car to run and a big bill (clutch/gbox etc.) would really have you stuffed. Willys need loving:oops:, you could always sell the RS to fund it though!:D
If they are 205/40s on 17s the rolling radius will not be too much different from 45s on 16s, dont buy cheap/heavy rims as these are not good for handling/acceleration. Some supperleggas would do the job.
I would spend the money on the engine I think lowered a little onto 15s Williams looks nice, plus 17s kill performance. Just my opinion, each to their own I suppose.
Hillpower Chip, Viper, De-cat and stainless exhaust. With quite a lot of weight removed, Back seats, sound deadening, spare etc.Looking at manifold and headwork/cams then Ill be going to York or Pod. Id say keeping in 2nd saves a fair bit of time, I would expect a otherwise stnd chipped williams...
