The shorter the spring, the less travel, and consequently the dampers can't do their job. The Eibach has a progressive spring rate, so it is softer and hardens up depending on compression. That is a compromise for track driving, where you should have a linear spring (Apex) which has the same...

Don't know what the deal is, k-tec have one car to appeal to the more Max Power orientated customers and a turbo 172 for the performance freaks. It is awful but it's business sense baby!

I think pretty much anyone would be faster in the Trophy against a Mk1 V6. I don't want to start a war but the early Vees just didn't get the time needed to make a decent car, whereas the Trophy is a superbly executed hot hatch. Maybe the vid exaggerated things as i'd say the Trophy driver was...

I've had my 172 since about February and have already put 13k on it, it's quite depressing. I have a phobia of high mileage cars for some reason!

Lol at the shark photo! Personally i think what makes black and white photos is the composition and lighting, so i love the first and ninth photos but the rest with their blurred effects etc. takes away the appeal for me.

Money aside i would take the 197. I think i would wait until early next year to wait for good deals and news on hotter variants.
