Had a quick read of the other thread...are you sure the injectors you're using just now are working properly with the car's ECU? Might need to use the original ones that were matched with your ECU
Post #5. I don't plan on watercooling it, all I'm looking for is a quieter fan since the current one sounds like a plane taking off when it gets going.
Ah okay, will need to have a check. Noticed MSI do cards with twin fans so finding one of those for my GPU might be the easiest option. Cheers for the help mate :)
That sounds easy enough! :) yeah, hard part is finding the right cooler now. What do you mean by reference design? Like AMD/ATI vs. Nvidia? It's an AMD card if that's what you mean
I never really built the PC specifically for gaming. Just wanted a decent spec PC that would still play games without much hassle, hence getting that card. Was the best bang for buck at the time. Got Bioshock Infinite for free with the card, and it ran that on highest graphics settings at about...
What do you mean? Seems like a good enough GPU to me. Can run most of my games on high settings, although it gets a little hot lol. Think my case is cooled quite well, my motherboard and CPU temps never get too high
Hi all, currently running this graphics card in my pc:

Can't fault it's performance since I bought it earlier this year, but my only problem with it is the stock fan is pretty loud at anything above 50% speed, which it easily reaches when...
Actually seen this about a fair few times. In Falkirk retail park (shopping/during the day...not at the cruise lol) and once on the road heading through towards Rosyth way from Kincardine. Never thought to ask if it was anyone's on here. Looks so awesome though!
Do you never get problems with...
Oh no, I agree it's a pretty stupid law but I was just asking how you were planning on getting around it, since they can still check the MID and stuff like that to tell if a car is taxed and insured.
Surely it would make more sense to just sorn it and get the money back for the remaining months...
Yeah, there was the usual haul of hot hatches and that with a few more impressive cars. Can remember an older skyline (R33 maybe), a porsche and an M5 being there.
Cheers man, not planning on too much to it, but we'll see how that goes. I planned on keeping it standard when I got it...lol
Well...
I was there a few months back in a mates car, just before it started to get proper cold and dark at nights an it was pretty busy then. The meet in the falkirk wheel car park still gets a good turnout but I'm no sure what the retail park is like later on when everyone leaves the wheel.
That'll be awesome when done! Can imagine you could surprise a fair few cars with that too, especially after a remap :P
Not really sure about what the best method would be for the immobiliser, not too clued up on how they work tbh
No problem, I'll try and get them looked out a little later on :)
What one of the 1.9 PD engines you dropping in it? Sounds like it has potential to be quite a weapon!
EDIT: For reference, the immobiliser is wired to pin 8 of the square black 40 pin connector on the UCH
I'll post up in here in case anyone else is looking for info in the future. I'm sure the immobiliser is UCH controlled. Remember hearing stories of a bad UCH causing starting issues with the immobiliser. I'll have a dig for the wiring diagrams for you just now though
There's a sticky in this section with loads of different setups, not sure if you've seen that.
Got my dci lowered on sportlines. Not a 1.2 but still a non-sport. Not the greatest of pics either but it gives you an idea.
Standard:
Lowered:
That green wire plugs into the igniter/starter, but it leads down inside the light unit and through a plug in the bottom of it to where the ballast should be
First pic is fuel level, second is fuel flow, third is the fault codes, although you probably already know that now if you've found out what the codes mean lol. I'd just go ahead and clear them, if they come back again then you worry :p
Just remembered I had this same issue. When you've got it like that first pic, press the end stalk button again until the display shows a few dashes with maybe one or two letters. It's a sort of diagnostic thing for the car, and there's a guide on here as to what the letters mean but it will...
There's also this guide on here, don't know if you've seen it already:
