Lol at people using cruise control for fuel economy. It opens and closes the throttle depending on speed, to keep you at a constant, not saving fuel.
For fuel economy you want to be using your foot, and no more than 10mm of travel on the accelerator pedal. You'll go slow up the hills, and...
That sounds epicly fucked.
As said, the large diameter black plastic pipe, runs from the filler cap to the petrol tank. No idea how you could have smashed that though, I'd say it sounds like you've ripped the thread off the top of a rear shock, driven on it, and the loose shock has made a bit...
Have another look at where the exhaust bends up and over the rear beam. Check that it definately clears when the exhaust bounces up and down. I changed my rear springs as I was convinced they were causing the knocking. Turned out to be a clamp on my exhaust knocking on the beam.
Go and "clear laquer" the front desk at halfords.
or just explain that they've made a mistake, and wasted several cans of paint and 2 days of your time.
As ben has said, they never make 180 bhp as standard. All the ones I've seen RR'd have come out between 160-178. Your induction kit will have lost you a good 4/5bhp, the decat might get you 2bhp, the exhaust will do sweet FA and the remap might have given you another 4bhp.
In order to achieve...
Theres always movement in the engine and exhaust, it's all suspended from rubber bushes. As the paste sets hard, it can't flex, and cracks and breaks off.
The pastes are sh*t as said. I was forever struggling to seal the exhaust with paste. Having now siliconed it, it hasn't leaked for a good 18 months. Rest of the exhausts f*cked though :dapprove: Hurry up with the yozzas fred!
Nope the frosties are still there. The f*cker can stay dirty till it stops breaking on me. Once something goes right, I might clean the bloody thing.
...and you turned up in the rain, without consulting anyone. That's blatantly your own fault.
DO NOT DO IT. I'd much rather have the mini over a clio.
Just get a smaller super charger pulley, and away you go. Cheap instant power, and good residuals.
There's a lot of b****cks in this thread, and I can't understand the original post but...
A decent LPG system will cost you 4 figures, at least. It will take a few years to recoup the money that you would have spent in petrol. But LPG is dirt cheap in comparison to petrol. I used to get 300...
