I find the needle tends to "predict" the fuel quite a lot. If I go for a spirited drive, the needle dives down, but when pulling up back home, I can gain half a notch of fuel.
The light will come on at some point.
It's inevitable that you're going to get swirls appearing back on the car. Your're washing in a non sterlile environment, and the very process of removing dirt, involves a certain amount of rubbing over paintwork.
Keep seeing more and more videos around of this quality. Brilliant production.
...also just seen that this was down the road from me a few weeks ago. Which explains why I saw a lot of nice VWs in Matlock the other weekend.
Not sure what you've done, but if the paints rough, get it clayed. Megs clay kit is a good start, costs about £25 and has everything you need in it.

Tread only comes into effect when you're trying to deal with standing water. i.e. a road with...
Ask about for some one who'd be willing to get a machine polisher on it. Quickest and easiest way to get rid. Anything used by hand just doesnt have the same results.
If he's not got the Renault locking tools, it'll still be out after he's looked at it again.
Take it to Dan at 519 automotive ;) he did a good job on mine the other week
