You will struggle to find an off-the-shelf exhaust for the 182 that is as quiet as standard.
...and as Renault want £1500+ for a new exhaust, you'll struggle to find any 182s with standard systems in good nick.
The harm is where you stick a length of pipe on the filter, adding to the friction that the engine has to combat to get air into the cylinders.
I don't think people realise the difference in the volume of air between 20 and 40 degrees makes f**k all difference in regards to "performance"...
How cold are people expecting this air to be? and how hot do people really think the air is in the engine bay of a car doing 40mph?
All your doing is sticking a pipe on the end of your filter, creating another half meter of tube that the car has to suck air through.
Mine does this as well. I put it down to water collecting around where the centre section should be.
It doesn't sound cool either, everyone thinks you're car is fucked.
Oh... That showed me :dapprove:
In the end it boils down to whether you can be arsed really.
I know I wouldn't be bothered, but then I also know that my car would never sell for £2k as a complete car.
Ever tried breaking a car? Ever had to answer the endless questions from people asking if they can have "only half of something" as "I don't need the other side/part/half/colour"
I'd be looking to shift the car as a whole, rather than end up with a bare clio shell and a box full of speaker...
Looks to be the fibreglass streamline carbon one.
Same as the one on mine. However I can confirm that it is not fragile LOL. My bumper pops off before the splitter will snap :dapprove:
Re: Run to Lady Bower and surrounding areas?
Sorry Chris, I'll tell her you say bye.
5 days to go now :dapprove:
....and f**k you all I'm not turning up anywhere tomorrow.
