Just get them fitted... then when you get home jack it up and adjust with C spanners until you find a preferred height.

I can appreciate it for what it is, and the heritage, but they do nothing for me.
Doesn't detract from it being a nice car, but I would be spending £3k on a lot of other things before that.
Oh I'm not saying it's their fault, there's bound to be mud there, but I was addressing the OPs surprise at the farmers being generous in helping, as he's slipped on their mud.
This isn't a reflection upon yourself, or your choice in cars, but more of a dig at Renault and their design department in particular...

See... I admire the car for what it is, and having seen it fly past, can appreciate how quick it is, but the cars you could have bought for the money!

Definately a write off. Requires new windscreen and roof skin, and anything else that has bent beneath the panel. Surprising how much work goes into repairing something like that
Can guarantee it's the exhaust knocking on the rear beam. Get some jubilee clips around the exhaust bracket, and exhaust mount. Make sure there is no movement in the fucker.
