of all the companies, renault should know better, my dad told renault insurance about his 17" alloys on his megane and they listed it on the policy but didnt increase the premium, just listed it as a factory fitted option, i would argue it with them mate as that is wrong!
yes the 182 splitter is the same as the 172 cup splitter
what insurance company are you with as they should not charge you extra for the suspension pack as it is facftory fited and factory fit options are classed as standard spec from factory, they are doing you by charging you that much...
there were two models, the SRi and the GSi, its the GSi with the 197 bhp, the SRi is the same engine but was not tuned as much as it was a tester model for the GSi, only a few of them made.
r u sure, as i thought i read in the manual that you operate them by holding the washer jet stalk for longer, say 3-4 seconds rather than the quick pull for the windscreen? it then does both the windscreen and the head lights, I could be wrong, but im sure i read that somewhere.
back on topic, i have noticed the door doesnt stay at the right angle for me, itg is either too acute, or flings wide open, i am constantly having to watch it.

this is a bit of a debate though, because half the renault literature calls it artic blue and others call it arctic blue, all the literature the 182 called it artic and a lot of peoples car documents also say artic when they got their orders, but then some said arctic, i never know which one to...
i agree with all the comments so far although I still get surprised how much stick people give the clios seating possition, after 2 seconds I had forgotten about it and it seems perfectly normal to me now!
I have been driving mine like I stole it from new (after the run in period of course)...
what if the tyre is not repairable with the foam and it needs to be replaced before moving the car and you are on the hard shoulder of the motorway, would come in handy then, they could low load you to a garage to get a new tyre, if you hadnt paid for the cover, this would cost you a alot more...
think you have to pay the dealer. Havent done it myself as i get free cover from my lloyds platinum account but if i didnt have that i would have done as the most likely need to call the aa in a 182 is for a puncture i would say.
Probably worth the money as 1 callout in the 3 years would be...
i agree partly with what you say although it is not as relevant these days, 2 years ago what you say would have been true but the situation has changed.
I got a 182 for pretty much the same price as an import and mine was from a dealer, I was also able to choose my colour and options and with...
