but thats only due to low levels of inflation. the petrol increase is probably going to start a rise in inflation which will make people worse off overall.
best bet would be to spray it, however it would be quite a bit of hassle. im also pretty positive that the top section is glued in, so it would have to be sprayed in place
yeah ive got the viper on and it has made the car sound alot nicer (for a 1.2) althought ive only duct taped the holes, and not sorted another cold air feed yet. apart from that it works a treat :)
i was sure it was your car because i havent seen a clio that clean in weeks :D
saw you tonight when you were big pimpin at the shell filling up. i was going straight over the roundabout but pretty positive you looked straight at me lol .
i was quoted 830 all inc. for my 1.2 to be done by them, but the leather looks really baggy on the front seats in the pics of the clio. i also couldnt understand a word of english she said on the phone - which really put me off. needless to say i wont be going there when i get mine done
ive got a V6 and id definetely buy another one. dont see many of them around, and mine doesnt catch the bodywork at all on the standard struts. (its a 1.2 as well)
still persuing my claim through the courts to get a replacement interior fitted into mine. had a preliminary hearing at the county court and was advised to seek an expert independant witness, and the cost burden would be shared between the two parties. needless to say im still arsing around...
might crack over time with you only using filler to fill the holes. i know its probably near impossible but try and cover the hole internally, and then fill over that so the filler doesnt just drop through the hole over time.
other people will probably suggest proper ways of doing it :p
my local dealer (vauxhall) can sort me out for £7995 which includes a years free insurnace and the tomtom300 thing and isnt pre-reg.
the 5995 is quoted from arnold clark winsford. my gf also got a pre-reg 1.4sxi for £7.5k which is a saving of almost 3k off list.
asking price is about right for the year. i know its likely to be an unpopular decision, but if you look around you can get yourself a pre-reg corsa 1.2 sxi for £5995 and have almost three years on the warranty. they also feel better built than my clio, and also have 80hp.
personally i...
numberplate isnt. front should be, but depends if its a problem, or just something loose and making a noise.
renault will try and get out of repairing as much as they can tho.
top part is attached via a load of triangular wedges? dont know how to describe it lol. bumper would almost certainly have to come off.
where abouts are you, as ive got an insert suitable for painting.
the price for ducting was for stainless steel tubes, with 3 samco silicone joins, and a custom baseplate to reposition the unit.
have rung demon tweeks about using some of their brake air ducting, as thats what pipercross recommend
is it worth it on a 1.2 16v. Just had a viper fitted - big thanks to makavelli for giving up 2 hours of his time lol - and just rung prospeed who said he could fully remake the ducting for £150.
its alot of money, so just wondering if its going to be worth it. mainly asking becuase ive noticed...
lots of threads already based on this.
basically you can do it yourself, but it would be very labour intensive unless you have the specialist materials / compressor etc.
basically it consists of sanding / plastic priming / high build primer / colour / lacquering.
alot easier to get a...
thats what i was thinking of getting some 60mm spax springs (as seymours clio is selling some, and i already have koni dampers) because i think i want to get the rest of the car finished before spending a load more money on suspension. (as i only had it lowered last month )
[Edited by...
just thought id bump this up
how low would it be if i lowered it to 60mm? just thinking it might be a nice compromise. i know r30bcs looks really low and thats 60mm iirc?
