is it underwarranty?
could be the rubber seal, or it could be glass out of alignment, or it could be that the clamp was weakened (know problem.)
difficult to say without having a look at it
pretty sure they have to be drilled / pop riveted on. unless of cause you go a breakers and take them including the pedal arms. I may be completely mistaken tho lol
mine is like that. i normally leave it ticking over for about 30seconds in the morning before going anywhere (whilst i sort my cds and crap) and it drives much nicer.
probably all a big placebo tho.
stigma. everyone loves it when you put a good 172 conversion on a non-RS.
i think its cause the V6 is a completely different platform, and they never seem to look right. the expense is also massive. so massive id have to go for a super1600 kit :D
I sprayed them in the garage, but i did heat the laquer up before hand in a pan of warm water, did everything i was meant to. The bloke before had sprayed them in pearl black, but they were damaged so i roughly sanded them down, then reprimed. Could the laquer be reacting with the paint he used...
i gave it about 6 coats of paint, which was about 3 tins. This was to do the sides and the front section.
they looked absolutely mint before i lacquered them with a really deep shine :(

couple of pics of my old lights which were tinted by a bodyshop using black paint and lacquer.
then they oversprayed them with lacquer so there was no 'edge' to the...
what the knack to removing these. i've seen the two screwdriver lugs on the underside but still cant figure out how to remove them.
do i have to pull towards the end of the door (i.e. door strip back, and rear quarter strip forwards?)

i have one and it doesnt catch?
cant understand where it should be catching as mine looks fine and hasnt got any paint damage from impacts when opening / closing the boot?
got some wolfrace street octanes which are in black, with the silver lip. they're on my black car but im wondering whether i should change the colour of them.
not sure if something like gunmetal would be a noticeable difference, or if i should have a metallic red flake put over the black...
i managed it on my 1.2 without removing the bumper, however i have got a fair bit of free space up front lol.
you only need to remove the two plastic plug-screws on the top corners. As you look at the flat section of the grille. The grille is then clipped all the way around the badge and the...

you dont need them. i havent got them and my boot is fine.
there are 2 different product codes for the black light, so it may not fit. if it doesnt you'll know instantly because the light wont sit flush.
