yes, but converting to TBs would really increase the price of the conversion.
Patty, that guy has not got what you think.
Ive got a couple P manifold lying about, and boy do they take up alot of space and weight tons!.............lol
manifold is fine, its quite compact and off great design.
But the inlet manifold which curves over the top does add a few horrific inches to the height, and P manifolds, well........i dont know how you would sove the FBW issue and the actual port mating faces are totally diff.......dont know...
diff..........rd ones have gay tailpipe trims.......and race ones are fecking noisy, but gorgeous, and hopefully if they could be arsed, it could work better, but hey, who knows until test back to back, its only an exhaust.
kant the engine backwards a tad more.
Use the 172s box, shafts (send them to reco-prop to get modified if you need them shortened or modified to fit the hub). You might find some stuff out if you do it like if you can fit the 172 shaft and hub to the 16V carrier etc etc.
As for susension...
worthwhile.....um, no.
On the rd its horrid at low speed as with any sequential and transmission jerk is annoying.
noisy too.
Ktec has one for 4 grand up for sale i think.
yea, why not........
but you might as well drop the whole subframe out, mate it to the valver one and lift it up.........fair bit of work.......but possible.
um........not normal........or you are using the brakes WAYYYYYYYYY too much.
Std pads and discs have lasted me 20 laps at combe before starting to go off.
Have a gander at the condition of the pads and fluid.
your way off........
its an adj fuel pressure reg, it can still lean off if you set it up wrong, or it can run massively rich. Its a rising rate reg, affected my manifold vacuum and has an extra large diaphram which responds faster to snap throttle movements. All it does is affect your rail...
yes, but thats not public highway.
the circut sets its own limits, they wont have any if they are in the middle of nowhere, get no noise complaints, wont harm nature etc etc.........
tracks are a diff beast.
thing is, the loops is when it comes to testing.
HOw do they test if its too loud? they dont on the spot..........what is too loud, when you get to a garade do they have the equipment, no....in most cases they sign saying its impossible to do so and your off.......till nxt time.
no actual noise limits because enforcing it would be too hard, you would need a set of values for all sorts of atmospheric conditions.
But they can charge you for being TOO loud.
