I was delivering to Swadlincote so it must have been about half 12 this afternoon
As I was driving into Repton, I could see this bright blue little car sat there in a car park, and knew exactly who it was :rasp:
Maybe I should fill you in a little bit...
My Clio was a Cat C write off, with a body kit on it.
It took me the best part of a year and in excess of £4,000 to get it all sorted, and back to how it should be.
Fack me, you get about a bit!
Carsington Water is just over the hill from my house, always overlooked it as somewhere to go, as it's so close. But theres some impressive scenery round there.
I'm just putting up a thread about this sunday, for a mini meet around there, if you want to come along?
Cool, well this Sunday this is happening http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=418253 up at the cat & fiddle, should be a good turnout if you want to come along?
I'm loving the set order there, tis a winning combination.
...and in regards to my alarm, it now goes off again, saying...
Only 1.43 magic buttons?! Not trying hard enough tbh, I regularly do 178 metres per hectare down there...
Thanking you my dear, and lol at the DCi. I'd love to stick 1.2 bumpers on, and blitz every unsuspecting yoof in his pimped out Corsa.
...innit
Awsome, and best colour there...
Ah plenty of gems like that round here, should have sent me a text.
The road round there is briliant too, one massive straight and long sweeping corners :approve:
Went out last night for a sunset drive, and took some shots. Would be a very good location for a meet later on in the evening, when the tourists have left. There's 3 large car parks scattered around the resevoir, so plenty of room for a big shoot.
This is the worst idea I have ever heard.
I suggest you grow up a tad, before throwing wild statements round, like not declaring an engine transplant to your insurance company.
I'd be very proud of what you've created there!
Once my insurance is sensible on the clio, and I have some monies stashed away, put me down for one of these, I need to make the Clio special, and not just some worthless Cat C with a blown air bag :dapprove:
and leaky manifold gasket
I'd start kicking off if that's what they'd been saying.
Although, I'd be more inclined to send a letter directed to their head office, instead of confronting them at the garage of said tyre fitting.
Technically, you could put as much power as you wanted through the front wheels, just depends what you want to do with it.
Cornering would be similar to the Clio TT I'd guess, with a large lump in the front and bucket loads of power.
Still?!
Some pwnage is required...
There 16"s, really wish I'd got 15"s now though, having studied tyre prices :dapprove:
Thanks for the comments, only needs a splitter to finish it off now, may well get a pug one, being as they're 30 odd quid.
Re: Thinner/Moded front number plate
If you've been collared for it, regardless of whether or not it's been registered, get it sorted.
If you don't do anything about it, it's sods law that you'll get the same officer pull you over 2 weeks later, and slap your wrists much harder.
Good lad!
Wasn't really sunny yesterday, so you can't see the pearl, but sun light makes it stand out a lot.
Cheers!
I'd love to find out what happened to it when I first bought it
Well I've always applied it with AG perfect polishing cloths. Which is the more important bit, applying it in the first place, or buffing it off after it's cured?
