If its a tic its most likely the injectors, nothing to worry about.
start it from cold and put your ear on or very close to the cam cover, move it to the furthest side from the injectors. extreemly worn or broken tappets will make a very distictive noise, not the light tic from the injectors.
i dont dislike them, and they are not a cheat, no cheating in making power from a specific capacity, just not a fan of the whole thing. I guess it was my upbringing in Karts with 16,000rpm and no torque lol.
true true......a progressive controller is all you need, but i dont pump that much so im fine with a simple system. ONce you start fiddling the costs go up a fair bit, im fine running 50bhp.
and i have only ever seen 1 car blow up, and thats one of yer reliable Honda Civics. He bought an...
true true.......t**ser it is then, but they dont mind asking a t**ser for free help lol!
few feet, bit OTT but please, i dont dabble in turbos at all as im really not a fan of them, dont dislike them, but just not a fan (ba dum dum ching!). SO, exhaust theory........well, its biast. but a foot...
agree.....this thing is bloody ace........we patronise clio owners for putting wheels on it, but come a decent conversion and it gets sl*gged for being a crap base.
350bhp, optamistic but probably acheivable with larger bodies and a rare VHDP head worked to death. And scatter cams though? It...
basically yes.
But i really dont see the point in running a special map and ECU just for running N20, unless its a few hundred BHP and its a dedicated Nitrous engine for the strip etc etc.
Map switching is far more usefull for a turbo car one for power and another for economy.
ANyway...
Ben, the collector, i didnt want to mention it as well......i can be seen to criticise and look down on people all the time by some.
ANyway, since Chris pointed it out, you have no uniform pattern for the collector. Its not creating any sort of flow direction, they all just converge in that...
ill stay!
ill stick to the serdi powered cutter (i dont own it, no chance in hell! lol)
Cheamical clean and we have a soft shot blast cabinet to remove crud/corrosion and carbon without pitting and damaging the surfaces, heads not as important to be careful. But jeeze does the shot cost...
Oh, i thought you were using tehm to get rid of that ridge, lol......you just gettign carbon and crap off with them then?In most cases i dont re-use valves unless they are perfect, but if they are, chemically cleaned.
valve seat cutters are damn expensive and the hand powered ones are w**k as...
JESUS THATS A CLEAN WORKSHOP! lol
thats going to need some serious plumbing to get the compressor outlet to join to the TB.
You could cut the turbo elbow and weld it back together the otehr way round so you can turn the whole assembly around. dunno.
yup, check it....but generaly tracking has nthing to do with vibration, it just pulls or pushes your car with no steering input or makes it handle VERY odd.
An imbalance makes vibration.
