The hard bit is getting the old bushes out mate, you will need a press. The new bushes push in by hand.

it will be the plenum chap, you will have an air leak somewhere, if its revving like hell every time you switch it on you wont be able to tell, take the plenum back off and put it bk on chap

i expect the calipers are sticking mate, had this a few times, prob because it was sat up, you just need to strip the pads out and re greae everything up, iv got to do that to a 4 your old clio this coming...
on a budget the setup i have is cracking for b road use, new shocks from renault and prolines, i dont have to worry about bumps, it swallows up any road, its cracking
well been meaning to do a few things, and had a day in the workshop last saturday and did these bits:
I knew my rear shocks were getting old, but when i found a puddle under the car it was time for a change lol, so i bought from renault a pair of Sport rear shocks and fitted them...

depends how much you want to spend, bang for buck an rs tuners your best bet, otherwise my mate paul at circuit motors at castle combe is very good, a full remap and power run before and after is around £500 iirc
there is a chance you might need to undo the battery clamp and slide the battery back slightly, as with the ph1 airbox it needs the battery to be pushed fairly back so the box fits, so just check that too matey
i say leads, mine had the same problem, when i tested the plugs on the leads each one had a spark but still only ran on 3, so i changed the pluge for new genuine ones and fitted magnecor leads and was then perfect
