I dno if I understood you wrong, but when we were on Tiscali they gave us a MAC code when I requested one.
We just had broadband with them, and normal BT phone line etc. I'm guessing you mean you can't if you have a broadband/phone package with them?
I agree it is very confusing all of it though!
I was thinking of maybe converting my bulbs to Xenon (non sport)
Does this mean if you install aftermarket Xenons every MOT time you have to change back to the standard bulbs?
So unless you have projectors, Xenon bulb conversions are not a very good idea, and would be a mistake on non sports?
I think most people on here recommend standard or the JMS induction set up I think. Don't know if you have to be a full member to access the traders section to see their one though.
Hmm that is strange. I don't really get why lol, I haven't touched it since I've had it.
Unless the previous owner replaced it but didn't use an OEM one or something.
Is there nothing I can put on the bumper as a temporary solution?
I know, I'm so glad I washed my car and found it now, before it's damaged even more!
I'm pretty sure it is the standard one, I haven't touched it, and it does have the little bend in it, it bends downwards not sidewards?
It looks like the fumes coming from the exhaust have melted it, rather...
I recently put a 172 bumper on my 1.2, however looking today I've seen that it's melting the plastic:
Its just the standard hidden exhaust on a Mk2 Ph2.
Is there anything I can do to stop it melting further? Like something to put on the bumper to protect it from the heat a bit?
Or any way of...
As above, I've got various items up for sale, three of them ending tonight, thought I'd just whack a quick post up:
Creative Zen Nano Plus 1gb MP3 player
Pioneer Infrared Steering wheel remote.
Pair of vehicle Strobe lights - kit.
Pioneer CD-IB100 Ipod adaptor for Pioneer headunits using...
The bit of plastic just above the cigarette lighter/compartment comes off. You can reach up behind and there should be a hole you can feel, so you can pull the wiring harness down through that. That's what I did.
Although mine's a non sport, so don't know if the climate control module bit...
I think its the wires are stopping the headunit pushing fully back into place.
You need to try and move the wires out the way, so you can push the headunit right back until it clicks. It should be flush with the cage.
24 Month Contracts are a big mistake I think.
Who knows what could happen to mobile handsets in two years, they improve so quickly, but you'll be stuck with the same one for two years, yes you'll have a very modern phone now but it will be pretty dated by the time you can upgrade no doubt!
I don't think it cancels straight away.
You request a MAC code from your current provider, then when you go to sign up for a different provider, they ask you for the MAC code (I think)
In theory this limits the amount of downtime you have between switching.
We switched from Tiscali to o2 using...
+1. Very helpful guide! I used this when I fitted my Tweeters and you can't go wrong if you follow it.
Also the strip with the hazard switch on above the headunit does come off, which improves access, just use a flat head screwdriver.
As does the little plastic bit just above the ashtray, which...
If your after the colour most like the 182 Alloys, its Rover Stone Grey.
Alternatively as suggested, if you want an exact match, the actual paint code is Ixell: 205 110, pretty sure Halfords can mix it up for you. or most paint suppliers should be able to do it.
To undo the front arch liners yes they are torx, most of the plastic trim bits are torx.
But the bolts that actual hold the bumper on are 10mm Bolts.
