Yea that is a slight problem, there's a rare chance someone might have already had one resprayed, but the chances of finding one for sale in your colour are limited, so you'd have to factor in a respray.
Does look so much better though!
Edit: Respray diamonds? Although Chrome does match your...
You could try colour coding the bump strips. They're easier to do and being smaller imperfections are not so noticeable.
I didn't have a clue when I did mine and they turned out quite well, there's a few guides in the guides section.
Pretty cheap to do and at the end of the day if you don't like...
As my car is a Renault Clio 1.2 'Extreme' it came with two external stickers just above the bump strip on either side.
I'd quite like to remove them but Im not sure how to do it, does anyone have any tips.
I guess using something like Tar remover will remove the sticky residue, but its more...
If you're getting them from Venom, they list them as overall, so you'll need the 40mm ones, that's for 20mm each side.
Just thought I'd make sure you knew!
It sounds silly, but I found that adding my mum to my policy (with me policy holder) with her as a named driver, made my quote go down. so adding your parents is a good idea.
We're with o2 for just broadband.
It was £7.50 for up to 8meg for us, which when we joined up about a year ago was a really good price.
you get a discount if you already have an o2 mobile, even if you're just a pay as you go customer, like I am, so it was only £7.50 a month, rather than £12.50...
I think its much easier to do with your bonnet off. I took mine off and turned the bumper upside down to see what I was doing properly, then screwed on the splitter using self tapper screws, starting at the middle and working out.
Thanks for all your comments :)
I know what you mean. I think the sport one looks much better in the flesh. Its just some of the photo's make the old one look quite good. But as I said in the flesh it looks nicer so im happy :approve:
Thankyou.
Yea it is the one I posted about. Although tbh now I've got it on as you can see from the pics you can't really notice them. Plus I cba to sort them out at the moment lol. I'm well pleased with it :approve:
Yea I'm thinking of getting a stubby one, although I don't really want...
Cheers for everything today James (Jimbo James that is!) - Mr Standard Clio. lol
Hopefully if I see you again you'll have your cup ;)
Still got a few things on my 'to do' list:
-Smooth rear wiper plastic blanking plate thing.
-Spacers. Defo for the front/maybe back as well.
-Stubby aerial...
Haha Its a nice blue door. Cheers for everything today mate.
Yea I can see what you mean about the aerial! That's on my 'to do' list.
Thanks for all your comments :)
Put these in my project thread, but I liked them so much thought I'd post them in here to!
Been quite a busy Sunday.
Thanks to Jimbo-Clio I now have a 172 rear bumper and sport front grille.
Also de-wipered, and rear diamond sprayed.
Thanks for looking :)

Thanks to Jimbo-Clio I now have:
-172 Rear Bumper.
-Renault Sport upper Grille.
And also whilst I was at it I resprayed my rear Diamond and removed my wiper. Still need to sort out the blanking plate...
I'd personally Just try lots of different existing bolts and see if any of them work before you start drilling. Sand the metal down a bit where the Earth connector will touch it.
If your good with a Voltmeter you could use that so you know if current is flowing, although I don't really know...
Yea I'm going to get 35mm bolts from Euro Performance
And the 30mm (2 x 15mm) System A centric from Venom Motorsport.
We don't get CS discount on either of these do we?
Just checking before I go ahead and buy!
