nah, you flush the rad out, and yer block will drain a bit, then fill it up again, run, then drain, so on and on till its clear.....
most of your dirst gets trapped in teh rad, and jsut running the water through will eventually get your block clean.

please dont use a 10w40, its an old viscosity type and not many people use them, some manufacturers invalidate your warrenty if you run on the stuff.
5w50 is fine, but do you need such a thin base oil? its really not that cold in the UK EVER. I Run a 15w50

Dont over complicate it......run it up to a mild temp (i.e you can still touch the water). Undo the bottom rad hose and let the water run out. Get a hose and stick it in the top rad entry and flush it through till no more rust comes out. Then do the same in the bottom hose.

Its a tight radius corner, but with LOTS of tarmac, go in too fast, pitch it in, unsettle the car and aim for after the apex, hopefully if you can drive you wont hit the barrier like he did.

the old pub talk about 4-1 for peak power and 4-2-1 for torque is pretty much out fo date.
In most cases long primary 4-2-1 manifold work better for both peak and building mid range.
