take the air filter assembly off, and just watch the ICV. its obvious if its messing you about. just pull the throttle cable then watch teh motor slow the revs down, if its jerkin you about then get it on an XR25 at renault.
Could also be a bust lambda messing you about if its not providing...

itll almost certainly be the thermostat, as the fan switch didnt come on, and if water was flowing through the rad it would of cooled with normal air sped.
Not a problem, jsut take it out and test it, but dont keep pverheating the engine, youll end up with a lovely banana shaped head.
Simplest way is to run a wet system.
Small ish jet of about 50bhp is enough, but you can go far higher.
Its activated on full throttle via a micro switch that trips and activates teh solenoids when you reach full throttle. You also have an arming switch to turn it on so you dont drive...
get the tracking done, pref lazer alignment. Then the printout will tell you the standing geometry.
There are a million things it could be.
Simple tracking, bent/misalighned subframe, binding caliper, bent wishbone, worn bushes, worn tyres.........loads of stuff.

yea, i did t that for coombe, well not for coombe, i had to pick up teh missus from heathrow, and she was carrying tons of stuff, so out with the seats etc etc.
Went straight to combe and it did go quite well, but not a marketed improvement, its only about 10kg!

cant remember the socket sizes, but youll need a jack, 1/2" socket set, and a plumbing plier to push the piston back in the cylinder.
just take off the pad carrier, put new ones in push back the piston and your done.
