i saw a magazine test one of these a few years ago on an MR2 and it made more power without it fitted, and get this:
when it was fitted it made more power turned off than turned on! lol
cheers matey :) i will do it again soon, te roof is still glazed even after a few turns with the PC, so im going to look at what i can do about that, though what did make me alot happier was iv always had a section of flat paint around the passenger door lock/handle, as if the laquer had peeled...
if its on the longlife servicing, its either 0w30 or 5w30 thats to vw's spec, if it is on time and distance (lamens speak normal 10k/1 year servicing) then its a 10w40 semi synthetic, exactly what depends from dealer to dealer, let me know if you need any more info chap i work for VW
well i think its as dirty as its ever been, so on my weekend off i spent it at work  lol
so this is how it was yesterday:
oh and CS FTW! lol :
I washed it yesterday, then left it in the workshop overnight to properly dry through out, and went back in...
agreed, my first valver had done 167k when i sold it and i gave it death everywhere and it was chipped so it revved to 7700rpm lol, give it a good service, and as long as the oil pressure guage shows signs of life then i wouldnt worry mate lol
oh and once i didnt have the socket to hand so i used an old door handle that my dad had taken off a door in our house, the quare end fitted just right lol
depending on which side mate really, the n/s you have to drain the gearbox oil, i replaced my n/s one, though i did it myself so no labour charge, took about an hour to do, and the shaft cost me £90
i wish i could mate but i cant :( though i will hopefully hget some pics of mine this weekend, will be interesting to see as mines done 123,000 miles now
ultimately if you want a faster car then changing the exhaust is usually nessesary, and with that you will get a louder noise
but its kinda become compulsary to do as one of the first things when modifying a car, iv only got a louder system on mine because mine broke and it was half the price...
didnt realise they need rebuilding that quick chap, i thought it was longer for some reason lol, so what needs to be changed at that miles or it is a case of strip down, check and see?
