black ph1's are THE best, fastest, handle best, stop best, use the least fuel, get the most attention and are worth the most money, which is why you guys can buy mine for £7000 :D

Your right about oil and coolant temp mate, but generally oil pressure drops when the oil gets warm ,as it thins out so pressure gets less. My old hybrid was 6bar when cold, 3 bar when hot
sounds like a flat battery to me mate, try this, put the lights on, then try cranking it, if the lights dim badly its the battery, cant see it being an immob fault
well when i bought mine back in march 07,i paid £2000 when even the cheapest was £2700 or so, and i knew it needed a bit of work, which i shrugged off as it was cheap, i ended up replacing the n/s window regulator, the exhaust and all engine mounts, but bearing in mind iv done over 25000 miles...

just so ya know matey (coz im sad) the early E36 (upto 1995) the M42 318is lump was actually a 1.8 16v ( i used to own one) the in 1995 they enlarged it to 1.9 (M44)both produced the same power though (136bhp)
good engine though, with trick bits like piston cooling jets and revs like hell...
yeah that is mate, as the limit runs off water temp, all i can put it down to is the water around the temp sensor cools down enough to make the ecu think its too cold, then once you have been running for a min or so the water curculates enough for the car to realise its warm and the limit gets...
