well im not sure if the ph2 limit is different but when mines warmed up it will go to 7200 rpm in every gear (well i havent found a long enough road to try in 5th lol) but mine most definatly does limit in the 1st 4 gears at 7200 rpm

Update: right got it up on a ramp at work and undone all mounts, including the mount that is on the block that the dog bone bolts to,battery out and gearbox mount off found the stud that runs up through the g/box mount had worked a lil loose so that was tightened up, the dogbone bracket...

i bought mine for 2k last year with 98k and mines still going nicely (apart from my bloody engine mounts lol) so i would say yes you can find a good one,but choose very carefully

yup i have abs mate i think it was about 80 quid with a bit of discount bud, ask them to ring there hq as thats what they did for me i dont know where the reciept is if i can find it il get you the part number

really mate? iv recently bought a shaft for my ph1 172 from GSF is the ph1 and 2 shafts that different? they might be playing ignorent,my local had to ring there HQ to check but mines been spot on,looked 100% like genuine too

right well what im going to do is get it up on the ramps on sat, i will strip the mounts off and start again, and il take pics as i go,and hope to god i can solve it

thanks mate the ball joints are spot on, and springs are new any other ideas guys? i cant see how mw undooing and tightening those bolts could have done anything? :(

right i cant bloody believe it!!! i thought i would try to fit the washers under the box mount tonight,but i ran out of time,alli have done it undone the two bolts on the mount,not the main big one, so i tightened them back up, put my battery back on and came over to the house that me and...

i would say 100% traction control,if clio tc works the same as most other cars it will be the abs cutting it to control the wheel spin,isnt there a button to switch it off?

done that,stud is tight as far as i can tell,though the mount does look like it moves a bit when grabing the engine to rock it by hand exhaust is close but doesnt knock as there are no marks on the exhaust or the subframe

yea i would guess at 54, any plans to mod the car mate? and hows ur exhaust lasting? as they never last long lol

can you get some clamps to slide over each end to hold it tighter mate?

nope blueflame cat bk mate,but did it with the std one on too exaclt mate,mine in the wet is really really bad,and the engine movement is still too much i swear also if you hold my brake on and bring the clutch up to biting point again and again you can feel the engine moving around,like...
