like i said matey its been a bit of bad luck for ya,a good trick is to barter with a dealer (i know i work in one lol) its amazing how much money you can get off, also try price matching the labour too,we can knock off 20% off labor sometimes to get the work
im not saying he could have done anything else mate, but im only quoting the man himself,he posted a fair few times on MLR that he turned onto the grass to scrub off speed, and all im saying is that doesnt work
and i think he driving was a bit iffy, but as i posted above i doubt i could have done...
i can understand having to pay that high amount mate, but for example my head gasket went on one of the sides of my scooby not long after and cost me 1300 quid, then again my clio has cost me 400 quid to keep on the road in 19k miles and 18 months, def could have got those prices cheaper too

i didnt know this till i went out in one...
might as well put my 10p in

i would agree mate thats not a bad price, see if you can get anyone in the trade to buy them for you,iv just bought a pair of front shocks for my 172 from renault, did me decent discount bless em,paid £53 quid plus vat for the pair
imo it depends on what your going to be using the car for mate, more track work and i would lean for option 1 (although better brakes are a must) but for occasional track use (once a month or two) then option2 would be a better way,as your uprating more aspects of the car,and would makle for a...
