oh and once warm i wouldnt worry about revving it bud, revving upto 7k once warm will be fine, id say 7k in the 1st 2 gears, then when power is dropping off...
about 50% worn matey, so should be perfect, the only thing i can put it down to is the larger sidewall with the 15s bearing in mind it is only noticable when your really pushing on
Right iv had an idea, please post your clio speedo vids
some rules if thats ok guys, please try to keep comments to the min and video's to the max, also please list the mods you have carried out and mileage
reason for this is to show differences between our clio's and how mods actually...
^^^^^^^ agreed, the clio has such a light rear end anyway any stonger braking from the back could lead to overbraking from it, thats from experience :)
Re: My Ph1 172 track sl*g Progress Thread
ah cool what are they?
i would suggest fitting braided hoses just for the improved pedal feel bud, definate improvement even in mormal day to day driving
Re: The story of a high mileage 172
cool bud, whats the sound difference between stealth and normal?
my mates getting a custom system made for his alfa il find out where he is getting it done
iv never experienced the maxogen, but not far off 400 quid for an air filter? not my cup of tea,id loose 5 bhp and by some brakes/suspension will notice a much better improvement:)
(no oofence to anyone with a maxogen guys)
nope all good bud, iv had these off and on another set of wheels, and then back on these wheels, and checked and double checked as im very sceptical over tyres
thanks for the advise bud but it wont come any more forward, you know to two little tabs that keeps the mount in place? mines pulled so forward the tab stops it from coming any more forward
Re: The story of a high mileage 172
i might have a go at welding it up yet again, and putting a brace on as one last ditch effort, problem is where its been welded so much its starting to blow holes in it, so im welding over the holes i blew into it trying to weld the cracks, its a vicious circle
