injector. cheap code readers seem to have problem identifying specific cylinder sometimes, especially if you have more than one dodgy injector.

you can pretty much see through a 200 cell cat. personally i'd say to bung a 182 manifold on and run without a cat, just chuck one on when you need an mot.

tell them to take their time doing the fast idle, there is no time limit to get the co down before they start the actual test.

You can get one wheel off the floor and check what it's locking at, can't remember the torque figures though sorry.

n/s wheel arch and it's just below and behind 5th gear casing, if you're quick changing it you'll hardly drop any oil.

838/840 they start getting a bit long after that as the alternator doesn't adjust properly without the pas pump.

crank, water pump and alternator only on a cup set up?

will probably just be the pulley, dephaser doesn't rattle until engine is warm.

you can clear crash data from airbag ecu.

fusebox under the bonnet, 2.5 or 5 amp one, can't remember off top of my head, check that.

think similar to 421 but could be wrong.

sorry, not 182 cams but it does look that way from how i've written it. chucked a set of colombo & bariani in it.

cheap leads will give you problems in pretty much no time, worth chucking a set of genuine ones on for what they cost.

have just stuck billet flywheel, 182 exhaust manifold and cams in mine. off to be mapped again on wednesday so will post results. am sure it would still be fine as a daily. personally am not a big fan of the 197 cams as they are a bit of a 'compromise' especially for the price they are going...

hammer is with brake cleaner then penetrating fluid and see how it goes.

yup, you might have to clean the contact on the light cluster itself but most of the time just need to crimp the terminal down a touch.

dephaser £98 delivered from renault and gates powergrip belt kit around £75-80 depending on where you get it from.

by the time you add the postage the price is nothing special.

plug on the rear lights, open it up and crimp the terminals down a bit.
