price mainly depends on how much you pick the used parts up for. easy enough job, to be honest the worst part is getting the rubber boot back in place at the bottom of the column.
as dan said, it's everything from the box back so gets rid of the silly sloppy bushes and replaces with bearings. you can pretty much feel the ball click in to the detent on the selector shaft when you change gear!!

only real benefit using one would be you might get slightly cooler intake temps as you don't have the runners going over the top of the engine. that was my plan for the turkish one if it didn't get any decent gains.
