Even if i was going travelling or whatever the urgent reason was id never, ever sell a car without.
It speaks so much more of a car when you can sell with confidence
If your after the asthetics of the cup (i.e the Cup spoiler and Speedline wheels) Then why not just but a normal 172 and add these to it?
There IS no difference in real world speed
You might want to consider breaking it if its viable mate if your serious about selling it on.
Advertising the obvious parts and guaging interest should ensure your worthwhile in breaking or selling!
This thread has got me thinking (and laughing) that people are under any kind of disillusion that 1200cc cars are fast/nippy/pokey/nimble etc and so forth but with every car the limitation is cubic capacity, end of.
Like the 172/182's there is in my opinion no difference in 0-60 times and top...
They do have quite stiff/heavy clutches but nothing that you wont get used to after a day or so.
Religious servicing a must, the belts like you said also are very important that they have been done..!
