We cant detect logged faults on our computer and the fault has to occur when the computer is hooked up. Odd yes......dunno why they did it that way. Hence, alot of cars idling and out for rd tests.

if you knew anything you would know that its not possible. The std head head and cam combination WILL NOT PHISICALLY allow that much poewr due to the fact that it will not be processing enough air/min. The std cam falls off and you start loosing power.

um.....possibly the airbag on/off switch.
On the 172 i thought it was on the door handle/arm rest.
if the belt snapped, the bottom ned would turn over and GRIND the open valves to a pump....and would get stuck....turn no more....

If you can, take the cam cover off, take the pugs out and check the end of the pug for damage as snapped valves will bounce around in the...

Just undo every pipe, let it all fall out and refill...keep tha cap off the rad whist runnig up to normal temp, and any bubbles will tricle out.......fill with a mixture of antifreeze and water....then havea short drive, let it cool and check the level, top up if needed..
has it been lowred.....if it has been lowered alot then geometry can be afected to the point that steering effort needed is dramatically changed.

Throttle bodies nowadays follow a generic DCOE flange. Which means any car you can run weber DCOEs on you can run throttlebodies which have the same mounting flange.

Rob, not fully track, but brake pad compound wont suit the rd...and theya re laguna struts with laguna brakes.... alot of effort for little gain. Get teh brembo kit for the megane etc etc....

i like plain discs as you never get them hot enough on the rd, and they start quiet.....Raldes fo them for 30 quid the pair, grp N rally spec which isnt much, but they are as good as manything else and 1/4 of the price...
on std TB......about 190bhp.....
The head is good for over 260bhp, BUT what you run with it in terms of cam profile, injeciton and inductin, exhaust etc will really dictate how much you are gonna get.
Potential is stored in the head.....its what you use to being it out.

I do everuthing on the head from 150 quid (port work) in mild street applications to 350 quid for rull race (port work). You need to add ther items such as new guides, collets, retainers, springs, valves and machinig. But i do these...

You cant do much to the combustion chamber....its basically perfect as is, and there is no metal to rehape....its hemi design.

i meant that you wont get that sort of power on the std head and cam....
As for the short motor, all that work is on par with a nice motor, nothiing too spesh and wont GIVE you any extra power, it will ALLOW you to make more, if you do it properly.
