willwood = good
they are american and very competent rd calipers with good dust seals. I have tried showing this long time ago, but gave up.
Willwood are used by most Nascar and oval racers.......its NOT bad kit...
good price too.
WHAT!!!!
were talking a less than 1% increase in frontal area!
Dont worry about it dan, itll be a cheaper tyre, more modern (nobody uses that size anymore, well not performance cars) and will only be beneficial.
You wont get any decreases in accel or top speeds, but a tad more grip will be...
yup.....but it was TWR not renault that messed up.....
anyway. simple suspension changes wont cure everything.....
lol....him go slow (relative to his abilities).......maybe more tuition from his sei foo.....tell him.....CAREFULL!!!!!!!!!
please, V6 parts are expensive!
o, and he has to...
LOL...hello Jc.....
Didnt notice your post......
the guy in question will crash the V6........tell him i dont want to have to sell a special Kangoo for wheelchairs....be careful!!!

Um, im gonna get flamed, but.......after reading....the point has been lost and its turning very boring......
down to the point where people are not recognising a decent car.
I like/love MK1s......its not quite a classic but an emerging one.
And that one, that has got some work on it, rot...
haha....a good friend (female) did music, and shes one of those who can play anything.....i think in total she had teaching level certificates for 13 diff instruments.....
we did take the piss though...
i wont even bother tell you our hrly rates then! lol
eventhen, they are still extreemely competitive in HK, being one of the lowest (of any manufacturer/dealer)......
O....DOH!!!
you want to keep the polished effect!
if you polish them again on a polishing wheel with the appropriate grade stick, then they shouldnt fuzz up again.
not argueing that the cup isnt faster....it is, deffo....BUT in HK where the aimbient temps are as high as 37 outside and up to 48 deg C inside.......i think aircon is a neccesity, hency why we are getting cups with an aircon.
An aircon can account for about 4-6% of an engines power depending...
lots of 172/cups have mounts which are not tight enough from the factory, its become part of the test on the PDI....lol
cant suggest a solution as it happents durning turning, usually associate clunking with hard accelreation.
no zetec BUTRE? lol
the 1.9 is an american block
Visceral: sorry to say it mate, but a well dont XR2 will fly. The tuner doesnt sound too great then. Problem might of been the carb. If you were runing the original DFT then 110bhp is the max you can get out of it. If it was the efi then you...
if you want to keep swet sweet handling...no lower than 30mm.....
rears, no problem with lowering, but only prob occurs when you increase from spring rate and you cant the rear.
They will wear fater if they are hitting their bumpstops, damaging the valve......another reason not to go too...
the XE in NA form is actually better than the YB design cossie........
possibly because they designed both! lol
but still, wouldnt dare put a vaux engine into a ford! spesh a classic.......shame...
