i'm guessing that whoever did it 'found' tdc using the end of the cams and the locking pin slid in to the balance hole?
i could be wrong but when i had a mess round to find out what had happened the slide in pin will go in the balance hole, btdc? and the screw in pin atdc, think this was after...
i had a k4m in last year that was throwing oil out after head re build, from what i remember it had a normal cam seal on the inlet when it should of had the dephaser one, when the dephaser was tightened up it pushed the seal right in and mullered it!!
