actually, that aint a bad idea!!!!
i cant get twingos.........well, not from HK to you....but i could source one in France through Renault.
I think a twingo with a turbod B18 would be cool......
yeah, i see all sorts of concept and internal releases workinf or Renault....some are cool, some are just as if teh designer was hitting weed killer in a bong!
yeah, capt.......
i heard renault sport are goin to make a V10 with a 111deg bank and electromagnetic valve train and 1ecotec per cylinder in 2004!!!!
they claimed it should make 1200bhp and the would only need a 17l fuel tank!!!
and the whislt/fart of teh ecotek will sound like anti-lag...
Um, i dont think it was as high profile as it is now, but it was still a popular series.
I think they ran to the same sort of idea of not a super highly tunned car.
i have no idea where you could find info apart from finding out who ran the series and ask them.
jeez...no idea....we dont do any plastic welding were @ Renault......
we would probably just replace the whole tank if it was that bad........safetys sake you know!;)
a PBV will do nothing, it is nothig more than a gorified fuel pressure regulator. And since the 172 has its regulator and fuel return line in the tank, the pressure along the fuel line will be the pressure required by the injectors.
You will not be able to put a PBV on a 172 as it will be...
ok MC,
the price for the injector alone are 45 quid and machined brass thats is chrome plated. Quite a diffcult machining process due to the design which accounts for the cost.
if you give me your email addy i will email the pics to you.

what happens at high vacuum and low throttle position!!!
or even better, snap on throttle, will the accel pump just squirt it into the manifold floor?
hmmmmm...seems odd.....
i guess you would have to run @ WOT all the time........and turn teh ignition on and off!!! LOL
i see u like teh colours Capt.......oh dear.....italics too.
Capt is right, in all my racing experience, handling is a non definable subject, you set the car up to your style or what ever is fastest round the track......that is all, you live with it.
On the Rd, its best to adopt teh slightly...
pagid are great
they ran them in teh cliocup series in the UK 3 yrs ago, no fade no probs at all, but they were expensive. then they switched ot ferodo which were a complete disaster, they are now using Perfoamce Friction which seem to do teh job....
