should be ok, by removing the bottom your producing more room for the hot air, and by adding the fans your helping remove the hot air. shouldnt have any problems with over heating
90bhp as standard, not sure if the 16v head will release the 20bhp though. might be easier to get a 1.6 16v engine and then modify that, after all that engine is good for 220bhp
10.05 about right, am running on rather flat tyres at the moment so will try again once i have the right pressures in. Happy with that though. Quarter mile was something like mailto:17.78@77.3">17.78@77.3, but i think i stopped accelrating too early
you can probably get just springs that drop 60mm, but this WILL f*ck your dampers, shouldnt really drop more than 30mm on standard dampers. Its best not to lower on just springs anyway as this puts increased stress on the dampers.
I would say talk to mailto:andy@gdi">andy@gdi or benR. My guess would be around 10k to include uprated cams, throttle bodies and lots of other expsensive goodies
137699 I know i was genralising but thats the way it seems to be with 99% of people that have decent in car systems. Out of interest and of topic, what system have you got?
i think its due to the age of the cars, older cars they have more history on and more experience with, so something like the 200 sx or 300 zx if they have a good claims history will be cheaper to insure than an unknown such as a newer car for example clio 172/182 golf gt tdi etc
I have a cat back stainless steel exhuast, am getting an ITG panel filter, have a decat that i need to have fitted, what else is worth doing to gain a bit of power?
polarbert, i know how you feel mate im an estate agent and sometimes there appears to be no logical reason for why the sale isnt going through even though everything appears ready. If i was you i would get onto your estate agent pronto and get them to chase it up! Be forcefull but not angry...
I read earlier on an american website that you can send your old unit back to Gtech along with $40 (£21.75) and get the latest version in return! So that would mean as Ive just bought mine in the group buy for £26.50 i could have a brand new opne thats selling for £200 for just £48.25 in total...
vinny if you read his post again yopu will see he knows that and is compiling a list of head units that will work properly with them, and the extra display you get on mk2 clios
so doe not building up no claims not bother you either? i love what u wanna do mate, but check insurance first, and if u insist on doing through your mates garage make sure theyll cover such exstenvive modifications, becausthats a big change and needs a specialist insurer
