To need the extra rpm's would be some serious cams which i highly dount would run that well on a stock ecu. What profile are the cams you use?

Trust me, best result coming from that car.

Dyno Dynamics are "usually" pretty close to be fair. although there is room for more fook ups on the analogue sw^ due to the manual weather entry, needs doing very often to ensure the run is accurate. The new DD like ours has a bluetooth weather station which is automatic :)

Milder cams on that one. the dip could be mapped that bit better but on the road not noticed at all.

Cams will give gains when mapped to suit, as you can see peak power is moved up and so is torque, depends what you want really but +20hp on an already tuned engine is not bad. Ignoring the figures that is ;)

Most cars are worth tuning from the factory, even the small engined stuff :) Good to have you on here, could be usefull :D

bottle, lol - the ratio is also slightly out, was about 300 rpm out. Taking it to 7400 now to get the 312 :)

So far so good! There's a little smoke on cold start sometimes but it is a 100k engine! Doing really well, just hope i get the full mapping session with no guest appearences from mr rod.

:) probably a bit of everything tbh, it drives so well and puts the power down surprisingly well. no big boost hit n that :D At the moment it goes to the petrol station and back for fags, milk, coffee etc. always the long way round :D

I just need to finalise the mapping then Ben needs to produce loads of brackets :) Today i got my spare block back from the machine shop, all bored and honed, with my custom JE's and Total Seal rings :) The pistons are ready to go now with the KTR rods attached. 400 ponies here we come!

We have sold many of these to customer is other countries where they need a quality remap, we can customise to suit if they provide some form of datalogging, preferably from a dyno and obd at the same time. The price k-tec have up there is for the forced induction setup, the clio ones are sold...

JE custom, 83.5mm due to my bores needing a fair bit off. Pistons will be approx 450-500 quid Paul

I went for 10:1 8.5 is too low, it only makes 0.2 bar at 4k so it would be crap to drive. Ours is about 265atw now, still stock..... BOOOOOOM lol

I set the pressure to 3.5bar on it mate. Leave alone ;) Paul

Fitted the 4 bar FPR yesterday so need to map this some more. Might try a 7600 rpm limit but i think it will need too much advance out to not knock! Paul

312hp now!!!! IMO on this engine the head gasket has been suspect since we got the car, it's done nearly 100k and all i did is sort the timing belt out! Need to get some fine tuning done on the map as it's nt the best right now, raised the limiter to 7400 to get the extra :)

Cheers guys. Had it on the dyno again today, just to do a bit more on the mapping side. Not sure how long it will last like this but it's now running 292hp @ 7250. Going to do a complete map and see how it goes under constant load! 0.7 bar boost is on the limiter so we'll see.....

Just a single sensor module, can put it anywhere really.

Juat a gauge and module with a k-type sensor to go into the exhaust.
