Chnging the injectors should be no probs on the stock ecu as we can calibrate the size. Going to look at fuel pressure etc but we sort of ran out of time. I managed to push 30hp but they went 100% at 4000 rpm unlike the stock 100% at 5000 lol

If i had to choose, EGT gauge IMO

He needs to see if them rings bed in first ;) If the smoke stops that will be a good sign they have :)

Remap is needed for sure, idle can be raised to suit but with them i expect it will never be perfect, also are you 100% sure they are timed in correctly? Paul

Overspooling the turbo!

You really cant see anything different apart from the filter setup and the intake pipes from the body. The rest is hidden :)

^^ Cheers mate Just a quick update, the block has been re-bored, rods have arrived and the pistons have been ordered to spec, the block was bored and honed perfect to the pistons been used. Next few weeks should see some interesting progress!

Renault really should have fitted bigger injectors in these! 95% duty STOCK! This was after a couple of runs but shows the safe potential is not alot :(

Try not to run the car much before you come here mate. I will run the car in on the dyno to try get the rings to seal on the bores :)

Yes and at a guess 260lbft (it makes 240lbft now with a 6k limit and 275hp) I think it will need a set of 428's in there too, or maybe 421's

Oh and to update the thread.... The spare engine is ready to go to the machine shop for a rebore and hone and a set of custom pistons. Then Ben will be doing the head and manifold while i build the bottom end. Next few weeks it should be somewhere near the 400 mark :)

So far so good, not had the car setup yet but the fronts are on just shy of 2 degrees and it handles really well. Once i get the other bits done it will be seeing plenty of track action!

I assume you just need the actual PWM valve to be controlled by the ECU? There's no reason why the N75 from the VAG 1.8t's or Megane RS wont work. Paul
