Cause S B D looks like 8(nospace)D which is the glasses thing...its gay i know.
The S B D engines are reallym coo, and i was hoping to save up for the S westfield!!!
no, transplant the entire running gear. Will need work, but willbe original and cheap to tune. Your the one who gave me the idea of putting it into the clio....well, dream. Hows your car comming alon, read or replied to my last post in RSC forum?
Well, your using RWD, i was thing thing te six...
i have just struck the deal with darren and his 130BHP rt motor. Moneys in the post . And i have ak-tek racing side exit zorst, supersprint 4-2-1 manifold, and a computer controlled, progressive nitro kit from the ststes!!! will be good for 190HP with nitro. He said it could keep up with 16V up...
easily over 240BHP, but with more torque (the 1.6 still makes around 160lbs/ft) but can, with enough money, make close to 300BHP,and you can turbo them real easily!!!
so many kit for them. Basically, all the luminition adds for throttle bodies, roller bodies etc, ecu are all for the vauxall...
the 2ltr magan etc, all the same really. if yuo want cheap easy power...i know it sound gay, but the 1.6 or 2.0 XE Vauxhall engine!
will fit, and the 1.6 can get 246BHP, as proved by S, and wont cost the earth to tune as its a track day favourit....trust me, it will fly past a will easy!
oh anyway, i got 15" wheels on (look at the main galery under picsof my car) anyway, i was kust reffering to the widt.I too have dropped -55mm...not oomuch to ruin handling which is most important to me!
wicked!
well, ill look into the axle bit. If you could also take piccies of your rear axle/ discs and calipers and onclude a measurement for the two bolts that hold the caliper on, it would be ever so helpful.
Do you have the 16V front calipers and discs on, i do and they make such a...
i was looking at the mounting points for the drms and discs and though that they would swap straight over, asn no need to swap the axle. Anyway, does the 16V one just bolt on, and what about the compensator valve, does it take a while to get it spot on?
Or could i take the torsion barout the...
well, i know what you mean, as i have done alot to the chassis of my rt, however, a standard 16V would probably handle better as the torsion bar on the rt is very thin and soft.....making it understeer heavily!
um......why?
whats wrong with buying a 16V?
the money you spend will just be even with buying a 16V, and it will cost the same to insure anyway?
Or do you just want street sleeper?
Im in the process of buying dazzes 130BHP rt motor, but its still an rt motor.
alternatively, you could buy a heat exchange unit. Basically it heats the engine faster and cools it better. It works by passing oil and water close together past a thin metal membrane (no it wont leak). When you statrt the cold engine, water heats up faster, the heat is the passed into the oil...
you could buy and fit a Pacet fan on as it draws air in muc faster, and i wouldnt fit moe and a 3 deg cooler thermo as theyre meant to run at the original thermos temp!

Heya nick, although i only got an RT, i have 7J wheels, and ET -37. The dont rub unless on full lock and under full compression. That is with the guards still in. So i dont think 7" widewheels will make too much of a difference, mind you, being 17" diameter, the wheel arch might gat narrower at...
but for such a competitiove price, avo have to be a top choice.
Linton: i would just get the bilsteins if you can> all of the coilover would be like that wioth the small diameter spring platforms on the shock body or else they wouldnt be coilovers.
also, i talked to my dad about the new wing...
haha, i did that to my mates car on the road once when pissed, he was so scaed it got nicked cause we must of bounced it 400m down the road, too about 2 hours though!!!
you at UWE too lofty?
Dont think i would of seen your car. To answer your ques. You want notice much of a difference apart from a harsh ride. The only real difference is that the side walls are more stiff, meaning that the tyre doesnt roll off the rim so much. The only problem is that the loose...

OutKa5t: Well, you learn something new everyday. I wanted avo coilovers for my clio as they were so well priced, but some people said they were a bit budget, but i think they rock. ANyway, the spring and damper set...
hmmm.....600 odd euros for a close ratio gearbox!
i very much doubt it, maybe its more of a short shift kit. Anyway, it all depends on what ratios you use. On my clio cup car, i had a very tall 1st gear meaning i could reach 60MPH in 1st. But 2nd,3rd,4th &5th were so short that i had to chang...
