Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
there's more electical tape than wire in your existing loom
cam timing was off, clyinder bore fucked, 32 (yes i counted) zip ties, exhaust stud wound in way too far, etc etc etc
JC/JB boxes have no such thing as a "small repair" £300 MINIMUM just on the box if you're lucky
that's really an engine out job (cheaper to remove the lot) you need to budget £1k - £1200ish
Sorry Danny but the 6ES are crap too, thrown a lot of them in the bin
did you read the bit about the F4R engine having higher piston speeds than an F1 engine? 26m/sec, there's the issue
hence why you NEVER use 2nd hand lambda's, surprised cliospares even bother selling them!
£55 new give or take for a Bosch one, makes no sense getting a 2nd hander
you should be over 40mpg on the motorway at 65mph
i think Daz's ran 231 on a hooky rollers once, think it did 215-220 on TDF's
a genuine 240bhp NA will be over £7k
lightest phs2 clio i know of is mine and thats just under 850kg (no cage)
lol just checking you weren't going to wire in an ebay resistor!
well if the engine is running (hot or cold) if you disconnect the MAP sensor the engine stops, so hopefully that answers that!
for the rest of it someone else can answer those bits, i'm not a mapper/electronics person
