yes
i bet you've overtighten the top mounts (the big plates under the bonnet, 21mm) and thats popped the springs out of the top cups
you only tighten them gentley until you feel resistance
aux belt kit MUST be changed, if it fails it WILL wrap itself round the crank pulley and that = bye bye engine
As Sam says its a big job, we've done hundreds of them! Get a quote from the main dealer for the same thing and it'll be £1K

sounds like the FPR is knackered, the one nearest the drivers side engine mount is fuel in, the one on the gearbox end is the return, is the FPR vacc hose hooked upto the inlet plenum?
stock fuel pressure is 3.5-4bar
