but its all down to personal choice, 10laps on track and they were ruined
i use to love yoko A539's, but people called them ditch finders! Bizzare thing is tyre choice!
Its not, but i would go as far to say 90% of work i've seen done by "normal" garages or people are wrong, its easy to do (with experience) but also VERY easy to f**k up
wrong, this is why we have f**k ups, the pulleys have to be undone, feel free to flame me for saying that!
if you read the renault manual carefully it state 2 procedures, 1 with VVT and 1 without, its not very clear and easy to miss
common knowledge mate, The V6 DID suffer from it but they fitted the spacers from factory so it never happened, and that's how i discovered "the fix"
the old fix from the dealers was to grind the metal work = a bodge
so Renault knew about the fix but never bothered doing anything about it...
