Working in the automotive industry i have many suppliers and friends within the business. Im off to Germany next week and i have been told that he could sort me out with some samples lol...!;) Anyways the question is which is best and what is peoples experiences of the above two suspension...

Rally design dont do them for the 172 i believe.

As mentioned lots on the forum the Koni/Sporline combo is the best VFM for a road set-up. I have this for sale soon (done 3/4k) as im going to go LEDA/Bilstein/KW very soon. PM if your interested.

Which are best out of H&R or the Bilstien PSS coilovers ?

Thought it was different 20mm wider at the front and 10 at the back...than the normal 172..or something like that..

You get ripped off for the disc, AP 4 pt calipers are 600 max so if you can find a std fitment disc to use then it will just be to make mounts to suit. Godspeed do the brembo / AP kit for 1k..lol 550 for a calipers and 300...!! for the discs.! Pads and lines and bracket 150. VW is 100x4...

Was a great day, excellent facility and very well organised...! Will be booking the next one..!!!!! Edde and Dave 182 took part also and a guest appearance Blink 172 as passenger.... Got 60mins of footage too..! Will need some editing then i will post it up..3wheelin...!!!

Have the same thing ever since it turned 30k its been awsome. The throttle pedel seem a little stiffer too...... You only have to touch it now and its off, previously sometime you had an inch of travel and not much happened... Long may it continue..!

You can get Kumho V700 trackday tyres in std 182 size 205/45 16.. Should be getting some of these but at just over 100 quid a pop not cheep..! Saying that if you get A048R's or Pilot sport cup's etc in 15 inch then they are still well over 100 quid each...!

Ouch that hurt....:S So have you got some 205s going cheap?
