looks like the pump isnt bolted to the engine in that video, and yes the chains are surprisingly loose

just a belt though mate, you shouldve got the full kit included for that price!

they probably "gangstered it" and just chucked the wheel in the oven for 20min and gave it a quick dust over

12 systems i removed last year, 5 were subaru, 2 VW also, all cracked

i havent used a renault belt kit in 2years, gates powergrip is the same thing

they painted it i assume as that shouldnt happen with powdercoat

Re: Whats Brakes? if you only drive on the road stick to OE pads, DS2500s are great, but overkill for a road car

as daft as it sounds, i can do one for £169 delivered inc VAT, just get it from the dealer

ah that explains it then, was pretty sure the brackets normally are triangulated for strength
