did you check TDC at the gearbox end by looking at the flywheel through the inspection hole? i've seen dealers (amongst others) stick the pin in the wrong hole

that cam timing is out slightly, you can see it on the inlet cam, its 8mm to lock the crank too by the way ;) you checked plugs, leads, injectors?

you need 2 x track rods 2 x track rod ends 2 x ruber boots (unless your are ok?) then wheel alignment and a special tool to change them

^no, you won't lock up on the road they're not a road pad, way too extreme for that, brake pedal is like concrete though :D

think about it 1 has snapped, the other is 5years old and strecthed you fit 1 new one, it will be more efficient on that side than the side with the stcrethed one simple logical answer - fit a new pair of cables
