^^ Swap the red and the yellow about basically mate...
As for doing it off standard:
You'd need the high to low converters as said, then a sub and an amp.
From there:
Run a direct power cable to the amp from the battery
A cable from the hi/lo converter/speaker wire to the amp
A cable from...
If you sell the car in pieces this will give you the best chance of getting some money back, selling it screwed will make you, in my opinion, a big big loss.
The other option could be to look for a clio body with a dead engine at a local breakers/garage and have your mint engine put in it?
The...
Trust me when I say, you'll NEVER be done!
Its so addictive doing little bits and bobs, everytime you see or get in the car you'll end up finding more you want to do.
Cheers, I've just been speaking to a friend who is convinced that if I sand the lacquer back with some 2000 grit and then really polish them up I should get a brighter colour and a nice shine!?
Is he nuts?
Tbh at some points I did start to lose the will to live!!
But for anyone that wants to try it, once you've got the prep work done, the rest is a joy!!! The spraying is pretty easy, quick and fun in a weird way and the results are great.

Cheeky git!!! I was working hard seeing as I have no other work to do...
Was good to meet ya mike, glad I could help. Nice car you've got there, and looks a lot better clean!
Ok so I decided to refurb my wheels… After a lot of deliberation and catching a glimpse of my car in a petrol station, I decided to go with silver wheels. Largely due to the way the silver in the dual optics goes with the silver in the wheels very well.

Mk2 PH2 ones look really good IMO mate, but those are definately a massive improvement on what you had. Especially as the old ones didn't fit at the top of the light.
What I'd do if i were you is....
Colour code everything, change wing mirrors, lower, change the wheels (unless you really like...
I never took pictures before, but the difference is a bit more severe than that.
The initial colour is a lot lighter colour than yours but the end result is much the same.
Ah well, if there is nothing i can do about it I guess I'll just live with it. Cheers.
I would put up pics, but I forgot...
Awesome motor, despite the ph1 being so common on silver, I think it really suits it.
With the headlights make sure you don't just try and 800 grit back the 80 grit marks, it'll take forever, just progress through a range of papers, 120 400 600 etc... should be easier and give better results.
The difference isn't slight though thats the thing. The paint had been on for about 28 hours. Maybe I shoulda left it like 2 days.
This is the difference between a proper bright silver and almost a very light grey....
Car looks great for the miles, get it cleaned and get some pics. I reckon with a real good going over you'd never know that its done that mileage, apart from the clocks obv...
Just finished the refurb on my wheels today, and was really happy until I applied the lacquer.
I chose a very nice bright silver etc, and was happy with how even the covering was... then today I came to lacquer it and it has gone VERY dark.
Is this going to become lighter as the lacquer...
